why is it that more often than not when a defender retires and becomes a coach he is basically good and coaching everything better than defending. Now im not saying that doesn't happen, but from my experience on this version what ever the players position was he is better coaching anything other than the position he played his enitre carreer. why is this? or am i nit picking?

i've had goalies retire who go on to become coaches, when u look at there staff profile, they're crap at coaching GK's

surely a former goalie would be best as a goalkeeping coach, especially if he's been a top flight international GK

I agree. Sometimes I think the stats are just random. There should be a bigger link between stats and position in terms of coaching.

Its little things like this that they could work on for the next years game - other things like manager attributes going up and down according to your tactics and results.

The match engine is fine in '08 now that they have sorted the closing down bug.
