I've searched the bug forum and this point was brought up. Though SI have noted it, nothing was mentioned on how to solve it...

I just started a new game and decided to mutually terminate all my scouts...then I hired new ones...the problem is, when they arrive, I cannot send them on assignments and they don't even scout players that I asked them to scout...the worst part is those players I assigned to them are no longer available to be scouted...arggghhhhhhhhhh....

This didn't happen in my previous game...

Does anyone know a get around? Anything I can do, either through the docs or FMM? It's driving me up the wall...I can only have 6 scouts and the 4 I hired now are all not working, I hate to sign any more in case they are the same. Dang free loaders...

Come on guys...it can't be happening only to me?? Surely it isn't right for SI to get so personal?!?!?! :p

I'm still playing FM05, but this happens to me too.

The only solution I have found so far is to hire new scouts, but after a season they all go on strike too, so it's not a great workaround.

Do you sack the older ones mate?

I've found that the new ones go on strike after one scouting assignment too.

The only workaround I'm trying now is....start a new game...:p
