AFC Wimbledon squad.

I'm running N.Irish leagues only which has obviously caused this, but how and why?

i've seen it happening when i've only run the french league, and in another game with lots of leagues running. i think it's to do with lots of countries generating players without a club, possibly because they've either got no clubs in the database, or have no clubs capable of generating regens

AFC Wimbledon has obviously been franchised off to somewhere in the Caribbean!

They seem to be the only club at which this is happening though.

i think there was a post on here about it happening at a team in the scottish lower leagues called broughty as well. it's an odd one.

Jim, I have noticed that AFC Wimbledon always start off the game with a full set of players retained in the database, which I assume is due to the link with SI. As you are not running the English league perhaps the game tries too hard to ensure that new players of generated to make a full squad due to some coding, hence the Caribbean players.

There was a thread as Kill Rock says, an explanation given is that Montserrat is a British protectorate or something similar, thus the game generates players for the Wimbledon squad as Uncle Ron suggests, who are British regens, I think!

There seems to be way too many regens from the Caribbean floating about in the lower leagues though.

I'm running all english leagues, large database and most squads in the BSP and below have several.

there are too many regens from ex-french colonies too, who generate without a club and tend to sign for french teams. i had three decent players from st pierre and michelon, and it's only got a population of 6000

in contrast, there aren't nearly enough regens from africa
