Default How much detail do you crank up?

.. and what difference does it actually make?

I usually have the leagues for the country I am playing in set to All and some European competitions set to Later Stages if I am not competing.

The rest on None.

I run 30 or so leagues as playable.

I load 5 main European countries worth of additional players (Spain, England, France, Germany, Italy).

Do you put major leagues e.g. Serie A, La Liga, Bunderslega etc on full detail as well? Or is there no point?

Also, it is OK to change detail levels from time to time as I move clubs or enter new competitions yes?

Hmm ok so I have 116 leagues from 31 nations + 7 additional player db's loaded.

Only the nation I am playing is on full detail.

Plays fine ..

Is it worth slowing it down for more major leagues in high detail or not?

I tried playing all leagues in full detail in my save all Eurporean & S.America league, even with a Q6600 processor it took about 20 minutes+ to run 1wk while on holiday.

Not worth it in my opinion, I only run full detail on the county that I'm managing in at the.

Fair enough.

FM doesn't seem to be very optimized ..

I would have thought there would be some performance tuning for different arch's.

It would be nice to have control over the threading and memory usage ..

Any chance of a FM .ini in the future do you think?

I ran 3 leagues because thats what the Wizard told me to do. Now I can't see who is winning the La Liga or French League.
