Don't know if this has been mentioned before, or if it's fixed in the [atch, but...
Time and time again free kicks are awarded on the edge of the area when the foul was clearly committed inside. If the offence took place on the edge of the area and the ref calls it wrong, then fine, if anything, it adds to the realism. But just now, i had Berbatov pulled down by an Arsenal defender on the penalty spot. The outcome? A free kick on the edge of the area! Ridiculous. Fortunaltely i was already 3-0 up, but this isn't the first time it's haapened.
The match engine is pathetic IMO. Problems like this never occoured in previous versions, so why now?
I think this is where the foul was initially committed because on a couple of occasions I have watched my player seemingly attached to the opposition from outside the area going into the box, the ref signals and I think oh ******** but it's pulled back to a free kick. The initial contact is outside the box but tbh that's just me guessing because how you would be able to tell that he was dragged down on a 2d match engine baffles me.
Yes I think this is an issue that the foul was committed outside the box but the ref was allowing continuation. Once the advantage was over the free kick was given, even though it looks like it gets called after the player was in the box.
