It was just the hypocracy of the two things that is the same, a comparison to help you understand.

You cannot download a pack like this then claim you respect and support graphics makers - fact. You can't download pirate copies of games (not saying you have) and respect/support the software developers. Same thing.

Well it does matter, in fact it is crucial to your argument that the majority of people would download a pack like this. So 'a lot of people' but from what I can see the minority (especially when many downloaders will have clicked the link without reading down the thread).

This thread is about a logopack that the link to was removed. There was some value in the debate at first but it's past that now. We're going round in cirles and certain people refuse to grab basic concepts. It'll just become a slanging match. It's not about graphics any more.

I'm not going to rise to your bait, I'm not going to stop reading your ever weakening arguments and I'll be posting when I feel I need to.

click on downloads and read the bit to the left of the logo. it clearly says (in broken english??) "for personal use and not for the distribution or commercialization etc" . when this particular logo is then used in a graphics pack it is no longer personal use.unless of course you make the pack for yourself. i know there are other clubs with this policy.

the point about not having respect for the packmakers,maybe your right.

anyway,one thing we do agree on is that this thread has died.time to bury it.

It would still be considered under personal use or "public domain" in this case.


Anyway, topic closed as this is going nowhere and some people need to brush up on their ip/piracy laws (for which you can see my house rule in the forum mentioned above).
