Although I've played FM for quite a while, this is the first time I've started experimenting with graphic packs etc.

My problem is, basically, that I've downloaded some logos and I'm not sure where to put them. I'm running vista and can't seem to find the user data folder or graphics folder. Closest I can get is skins.

Any suggestions?

Where you found the skins folder, Make a folder and name it Graphics. DON'T make the Graphics folder INSIDE.

So you see inside Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2008 folders, should be Skins, db, Tactics etc.
Beside those folders, Make a Graphics folder. Inside the graphics folder, Make other folders and name them

Kits = Put your downloaded kits inside here

Players = Put your facepacks inside here

Pitch = Put your Balls, Nets, Player Icons inside this folder

Logos = Put your logos inside here.

One more problem.

I've done what you said and I have downloaded a new skin, and some logos.

Put the skin in the skin file, and the logo in the logo file.

Nothing seems to have changed. Do I have to do something when I extract the files, or just leave them exactly as they are?

Load up your game.

Now go into Options, Then go into Preferences, Then Display & Sound.

UNTICK Skin Cache.

TICK Always Reload Skin.

Now where you see the name of the current skin, FM2008, Use the drop down box that appears once you click there and select the skin you wish to use.

Then click Confirm.
