Welcome to FC United of Manchester...

Credits go to firstly...

MANC_IN_EXILE for the idea and starting the database changes..
MICHAELMURRAYUK for the logos and kits and backgrounds..
TAZSKOOL for finishing the database, small and normal facepacks, editing the config files and making sure it all works, package and delivery. Also writing this INSTALLATION FILE!!

Now... as you can see in the main zip are lots of little zip files each with the name of what they are.

Open each of the zips and it has a text file in it.. Read it and follow the instructions in it fully as they tell you where to put each of the FC United files and how to edit the config.xml files if needed!

The Saved Game needs to be placed into the following directory:
CDocuments and Settings\FM\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\games

After you have installed all the logos, kits, backgrounds and facepacks you will need to start Football Manager 2007 and select "LOAD A SAVED GAME". .. select FC_United and you will play as manager of the club...

All the players are as they appear on the FC United website.

I think I may have added 1 or 2 more.
Some of the FC United players do not have facepacks as the FC United website does not have the images.

FC United start off in the Conference North....

The aim if you dare to accept it is to get FC United more powerful than Manchester United!!

I get an small error, saying that "The database folder with which this game was created could not be found. The game is now using the default database folder".

It doesn't seem to be a problem, but maybe you should put a note in the installation-file, not to be concerned

PS: Would it be possible to release the database it self?

I shall zip the DB with the rest of the files tonite (about 9pm UK time I shoudl have it redone!!)

kongFjong.. yes you can paste all the above into your site... as its for everyone to use (as long as the credits remain for all the people who helped make this!)

What's the difference between the link in your first post, to the full database link one?

Link in the first post is the Saved game... so your stuck with playing as FC United and the English League....

the 2nd link is the FULL database basically allowing you to play as FC United but start a new game and add diff leagues.

i was looking forward to your fc united of manchester database
but now my fm is unable to load
just get the 'not responding'
and to make things worse i forgot to back up my database
any chance you still have the original database??
