OK...I have read and reread all the loading od edited db info using the FM2007 editor with the WWSM game disc. Sure, I can find my edited db in the drop down list, but then what I am getting after it loads is, the game just hangs. It's almost as if everything is there but it can't find it. I then have to shut down the game as it just hangs forever. I then have looked in the editor itself made sure I have saved it under a completely new name and then gone and checked the folders that everyone here says it should be in. It always is. Can some one please take us through using the FM2007 editor on the cd version of WWSM 07 game and if it doesn't seem to load...why not and how to resolve it. Someone put on the forum that you can't use the FM2006 with WWSM2006 and similarly the 07versions. That's nonsense. My 2006 one works fine when I put myself and a few friends into the game. This is why I just want to see a definitive instruction onhow the databses deffinately get loaded into the game on a new game basis. Any help much appreciated.

I had the same problem with WWSM07 after using the editor, of course what caused my hang might not be causing yours, but this might help. You said that the DB drop-down window shows up with your custom DB in it, then hangs when loading ... one thing I have found with the FM editor on the WWSM07 disc is that it won't shut down after you exit the editor. What I mean is the editor window will close, but the actual programme will still carry on running in the background.
Assuming you are using WinXP, open up the task manager & click the "processes" tab & scroll through until you find the FM Editor programme, then close it down. The editor uses a huge amount of system power, so that might be the cause of the hung game during loading.
It worked for me, but that might not be the cause of your hung game ... if it is, hoped this helped, if it isn't, well, I tried! Good luck mate.
