I have tried making a World Superleague with clubs from all continents around the world, I got it working with the 2005 release, but with 2006 I've was unsuccessful.
I now want to try it with this version but it takes a couple of hours to setup and its a waste if it dont work.
In 2006 it runs for a while and crashes after about 4 league games, anyone know the reason for this?
Would I have more luck if I done it with just european teams instead of world teams?
I create it in the english leagues by simply swapping the teams around, so if i swap charlton for Corinthians, i then leave charlton in brazilian league. Could this be the problem?
I mean even tho I only run the english leagues, could the problem be that other leagues are starting with all foreigners?
I really want to make this work so if anyone knows how to? whats wrong? or has any suggestions, please help me out.
Thx

Greetings, I've made a working World SuperLeague using the English league all the way to the lowest playable levels (and beyond, so that good teams are still entering the league and the cups are competitive).
It works, but there's a few things you need to do to ensure that it does:
1. You can clear the history of all the competitions, but there needs to be a 2006 winner for the Premier League and the FA Cup, or else the game will crash at the Community Shield.
2. Go through and make all nations a part of the EEC, this will eliminate the need for work permits and the like.
3. Under the Nation Tab, change England's TLA (three letter abbreviation) to OCE. This will eliminate the Champions League from mucking up the schedules. You have all the cups for that anyway.
4. You don't necessarily need to do this, but upping the reputations for the leagues and lowering those of non-english leagues (Serie A, La Liga etc.) does well to keep the good players coming throughout the league. I have mine at Premier League 20, Platinum League 19, Gold League 18, Silver League 17, Bronze League 16, Alpha League A/B 15, and the reps for all other leagues set below 15.
I've also tinkered with the finances for each team, making them uniform across the leagues to ensure that no one goes into financial trouble. For instance, every team in the Premier League starts with 85,000,000 pounds in cash and 45,000,000 in transfer funds. It doesn't matter if they had more or less to start with. The bronze league starts with 27,500,000 pounds and 14,500,000 transfer funds.
All in all it has worked out well, I'm currently in season 3 with a created team I made, Wanderers FC, that started out in the Alpha League A/B and have since gained promotion to the Bronze League, where life is more difficult. I've also ran it on holiday to 2018 and there were no problems.
I guess the only thing I run into is that most of the newgens are English, because all the teams are technically based in England, according to the game. You can switch the nationality of all the teams, but then they don't have any reserve or u-18 teams, and I decided the lesser of two evils was having mostly English newgens. My team is English based, so it's not a problem at the moment, and teams still have one or two foreign newgens coming in each year anyway.
Anyway, good luck, and if you have any more questions let me know.

One thing about superleagues i found on old versions was that say for example spurs were in the equivalent of league 1 the board expect you to win the league, they don't recognise the quality of opposition, only that it's league 1, is this a problem?
