Don't quite understand what you are asking.

Do you have a game going and want to add a player into that existing game ? I.e you have played 3 seasons and want to add Joe Bloggs to Man Utd ? The answer to this is NO cann't be done.

Or are you talking about the database and want to set that up before embarking on your challenges ? I.e David Beckham @ LA Galaxy ? The answer is yes you can do this.

i want to add some players that are without a contract (free transfers) to my game database.

e.g. there is a korean youngster i would like to add to the game, but i don't play the korean leagues so not all the korean players are loaded. how can i make sure that when i start a new game he is available to be signed by any club?

Not a problem. What you need to do is use an edt file with the RETAIN_PLAYERS setting in it.

The below are for North & South Korea.

"RETAIN_PLAYERS" "129"
"RETAIN_PLAYERS" "135"

I haven't tested these, so if you get stuck, take a look at this thread or this thread.

What neevesc says is true, however this adds all players from that country, not individual player. Unfortunatly this is impossible but if they are a free agent then what neevesc has described is the best way of achieving what you want.

ok, thanks for your answer. although i already knew this.
the problem is i've already added quite a lot of players. all the european 1st divisions, some 2nd divisions of european countries, and all of the best non-eu 1st division teams + all or some 2nd division teams of the best countries of the other continents.
my pc is crap, so i like to not to load all the players of one country, only the best players/teams of that country.
so individual (free) players can't be added, only if you transfer them to a team??
