Future income and future income end date. What are these?
I have searched for this and every thread returned in my search (and there were a few) at some stage says "We really need someone from SI to explain this" and then the thread dies.
I don't want this to be just another thread where the question isn't answered so please can someone THAT KNOWS the answer (not thinks they know) tell me and others.
I tried to use logic but Arsenal has a £100,000,000 future income with an end date of 2020, Chelsea has a future income of £12,000,000 with an end date in 2014 and Barcelona has no future income date. This lead me to believe that it had something to do with the shirt and/or stadium sponsor (because Barcelona do not allow any shirt sponsors) but it doesn't appear to be this way when playing the game.
Any REAL help would be appreciated.
What I really want to know is:
1. Is this incorporated into the game yet or just a placeholder for future releases?
2. If it does work, what does it do?
3. Is the future income figure then divided by the number of years on left until the Future Income End date or is it the full sum paid annually until the end of the contract?

Future income and future income end date. What are these? Post #2
Yes I also wanted to know what the future income is!
1. For Arsenal for example: will they get 100million until 2020 or 100million per season until 2020? Because if Chelsea is only getting 12million until 2014 it seems that is not realistic...
2. What's the remaining wage budget? Is this per week? For example: Remaining wage budget for Chelsea is 1 million. Does this mean that they can still increase their wage bill by 1 million per week?
Is this really the remaining wage budget or the total wage budget? And again, this is remaining wage budget per week, right?
These two questions are very important when you want to edit finances...I did a big search in this forum and no one mentioned this before. THis really needs a reply from SI, please.
Thanks

Future income and future income end date. What are these? Post #3
Firstly can i get a "welcome" from you guys cos i have never posted on this community before... Thanks.
Secondly i am but a simple gamer like you guys so my advice can't be taken as gospel. BUT
I am a big fan of s****horpe united and have played, so far five seasons with them in the league one. each time has been a new game with a slightly different database. On one of these, unlike any other i chose to give them a large amount of "future income" and the affects of this were sublte. The sponsorship money stayed roughly the same, the club's gate reciepts also the same, the expenditure and everything, roughly the same, BUT i took the game another three seasons and lowe and behold, S****horpe went and built a new stadium. So, in short i believe that this figure is the Chairman's money and/or the money gained from sale of stock in any ONE year up to the year that the "future income" is set to end. And it just so happened that S****horpe's chairman spent that money on a new stadium.
In short guys, trial and error is the best way to achieve results, even if it does take an age.
Also, the wage budget remaining i think would be determined by how you have it set, be it weekly, monthly or yearly.
Hope i helped

Future income and future income end date. What are these? Post #6
Hi, JayScunnylad
I experimented with the editor... Arsenal's future money always causes them to get a takeover, where 100 milion or so gets pumped into the club. So I guess future money has something to do with takeovers...

Like Jay Scunnylad said,
Future money is either the chairman's money invested in ONE year or the money of the chairman taking over, be it another director, foreign tycoon, consortiums or fans supporters trust.
For example, Arsenal, in my knowledge, always gets taken over by a consortium or a director. 100 million is then pumped by the new chairman, hence the future money of 100 million, into the club's facilities and transfer budget. Arsenal debt is almost completely wiped and so on...
That takeover also raise Arsenal's reputation. Using a in-game editor to view the full effect of the takeover, Arsenal's rep had been raised by the takeover from 8800 at the start to 10000.
In the case of Chelsea, considering that they already have Abramovich, a new chairman is highly unlikely to happen. And I have never heard of spanish clubs being taken over irl, usually only a new elected president or something
Remaining wage budget, for me is weekly based.
When you have 60000 remaining wage budget, it means that whatever your total wage budget is, you can only add a maximum of 60000 in wages before u exceed your wage budget.
Example: Total wage budget = 960000
Current wage total = 900000
Difference = 60000
