is there anyway of creating a new cup/league for teams to participate in using an editor?

you can't on the normal editor but you may be able to if you download the 7.01 update

no i've got 7.01 and went on the editor, shame you can create everything but that

Hey....
You can amend the Brazilian State Championships to be your own comp!
load the game with Brazilian league just so u can look at the state championships.
Pick one you like then close the game (after taking note of participants).
load the editor, go to each clubs competitions page, remove the "other division" then add that division to the teams you want to have play in an additional tournament. NOTE: don't mess with the nationality of the tournament, or number of clubs involved as this crashes the game.
