Ronaldo render help!

I made this render of Ronaldo using the poly lassoo at 2px feather.
As you can see it is quite a good cut out, but when placed on a dark back has a bright white line around it.
How do I get rid/hide this line?
All help would be much appreciated.

Ctrl+Click the layer, then go to Select>Modify>Contract and use ~3 pixels.Then press Ctrl+Shift+I and then Delete.

Cheers, but when I go to 'select', only 'select all' is active, the other dropdown options are not available (pale grey)??

Make sure you're on the right layer i.e selected it as well as Ctrl+Clicking it

I think that might be it anyway.
