I'm thinking of creating an international legends database
Basically taking each playable and putting the starting 11 that is regarded as the nations greatest team. SO rather than trying to cram in every great i can think of, just giving each international teamtheir star 11 players from years gone by, attheir peak ages playing for the club they are most associated with.
I used to do a fair amount of editing on the old champ manager games, but never given FM editing a go so this would be my first attempt. I was just wodnering if i did ever manage to get round to doing this would it interest any people at all?

ta anyway gd idea!!!
yeah i'd be mroe than happy to sort it out as a download somehow for people.
Also although it could take a while my thoughts are its only gunna be creating 11 players for each playable league and researching their history a bit, i mean surely that wont be too hard.
I thought i could just find lists of the most capped players for the more obscure countries that are harder to research and work from that list.
ALsthough i plan on making it all created players, all the players must be retired. So for example I wouldn't edit david beckham and put him in his prime, it would be purely new players added into the data base.

Here is some Australian players for you to think about.
Mark Bosnich was our best keeper and no one comes close to him at his prime.
Joe Marston is a cantidate for leftback. He was the first Australian to play in England and in a FA cup final. Stan Lzardis is anoter option. He is old now but you could rejuvinate him. Mehmet Durakovic was a nutcase defender who plaed over 50 games for Australia.
In centreback you have a huge amount of options. Peter Wilson was our captain in the 1974 world cup, a very touch hard defender who played at a fullback or sweeper and it is reported he played over 100 games for Australia. Alex Tobin played 87 times for Australia and played over 500 games in the Australian league. Charlie Yankov was our captain in the late 80's and played I think 50 games for Australia. Milan Ivanovic was our bes ever centre back in terms of ability. He played in Yugoslavia for 10 years before moving to Australia. He played over 50 games for us and was very good on the ball and read the game very well. Paul Okon if you rejuvinate him would be worth a a place. He played in England, belgium and Italy. Manfred Schafer played over 50 games for Australia and was a aprt of our backline at the 1974 world cup.
Alan Davidson should be the pick for rightback. Played over 50 games for us and played in England with Nottm Forest.
There are so many options for he midfield. Ned Zelic was a controversial defensive midfielder who has played for Borussia Dortmund as well as other clubs in Germany, England, France, Japan and Holland. Paul Wade was a centre midfielder who played over 100 games for Australia and is a good choice for entry. Ray Richards was the centre midfielder in our 1974 world cup squad and should be an outside chance. James Rooney like Richards was part of the 1974 squad and is outside chance. Robbie Slater was the firts Aussie to win the English premeir league when he was with Blackburn rovers. Also played for other clubs in England, Belgium and France. John Watkiss was a aprt of the 1974 worldcup squad and was always a solid player. Johhny Warren is definetly one that deserves a place. An absolute legend of the game here in Australia.
Ray Baartz was a solid stricker who played in the 1974 world cup. John Kosmina was a striker who played over 50 games for Australia as well as playing for Arsenal. Current manager of Adeliade United. You could rejuvinate mark Viduka who has scored huge amounts of goals where ever he has played. Adrian Alston was a star striker of the 1974 world cup squad and also played in England, Wales and the USA. Aurelio Vidmar was a forward who played for Australia in 3 world cup qualifying campaigns as well a splaying for clubs in Japan, Belgium, Holland, Spain and Switzerland. Is currently Adeliade eunited assitant coach.Frank farina was striker who played in France, Italy, England and very succesfully in Belgium. He also is ex-coach of the national team and is currently Queensland coach. Reg Date was a legend in the 40's and 50's where he scored hundreds of goals in the NSW state league. Branko Buljevic should be an outside chance and played in the 1974 world cup. Attila Abonyi was another star of the 1974 world cup and scored over 20 goals for Australia. I also think you could rejuvinate Harry Kewel to the level he was at when he was at Leeds.
If you are also putting in coaches please add Rale Rasic as head coach because he took Australia to its first world cup and revolutionised the game here. Fank Arok should be his ass manager along with Eddie Thomson with both leading Austrlai to many victories.
These are just recomendations and if you want more info on each email me at danno221@hotmail.com
