Im looking for a tactic which keeps the most possession in general regardless of whether it makes shots or not. Please leave your suggestions here.

Hmmm, you can reduce possession only to foramtion. You need to add more info about team/players and most important, all about individual instructions.

For my thinking, all teams could perform well in terms of possession but it all depends on individual settings you choose. Either way, obviously that playing short pass with low tempo and time wasting will give more possession to yout team.
