How important is the coaches preferred formation?
I mean if you play some kind of 4-3-3 and every coach you have prefers the 4-4-2? What if I play the coaches preferred formation will my team pley even better? Definitely going to see if there's any connection...any one of you guys tried that?

doesn;t really matter. When you go on holiday and you leave the ass man in charge and you give him freedom, then he will revert to his favoured formation.

Yeah that's correct of course when you go on holiday IF you don't tick ''Use current match tactics'' he will play his favorite ones...anyway I was managing brazil and since the players don't work that much with international coaches when they are on international duty as they do with clubs coaches I thought I doesnt' matter that much, cause I dominated almost every match, then when managing a club I had some more difficulties with the same formation but also with a world class team, I was playing 4-3-3 and since clubs coaches preferred 4-4-2 thought this could be a problem...now I play 4-1-3-2 and it works really well, so I guess coaches preferred formation doesn't matter that much
