Well deadly just played a few games using your tactic sets with valencia,Good at home like u say but do struggle away from home what did you do away from home.

Yes, Henry played left to my TM. I have not tried a smaller player with feet or ball, but please try it and let me know how it works for you. I have no trouble away, if you look at my Arsenal screenshots I was top of the league away with the highest GD, most points, most wins, least loses. With Valencia, I had great success away because most teams dont think you threaten too much and I catch them on the counterattack. If anything I've found home to be the trickiest, because teams can still sit back and sometimes your players dont just find that one goal to put you over them. Let me know ify ou need any more help.

Portsmouth; a little tougher, espically since no one wants to come to your club. The only transfer I made was for Eddie Johnson.



My only dropped points was a draw with Chelsea. On the way i defeated Arsenal, Tottenham, Bolton, Newcastle, Everton, and a few lower ones.

Eddie has 7 goals, 6 assists, and 2 MoM in 11 games.

deadly im not knocking you mate but just cant seem to repliacte your sucsess with these tactics, Playing as valencia have eddie johnson and morientes as the spare target man with David Villa as the other striker in the alternative home version due to the depth of our midfiled.

And still really struggle to score yet seem to ship plenty and thats with this as a back 4

Im playing eddie in the centre as target man and have put him in the list but still no real joy ? Any ideas.

I do use the away tactics for away games, it works well for me.

I'll post an updated portsmouth screenshot after a few more games and some squad stats as well.

I normally use Home-Alt just because I want to utilize a good midfielder (Fabregas, etc.) and because I dont have 3 amazing strikers... although they will both work, I just prefer home-alt.

The one thing I have changed is on all 3 tactics I have changed Tackling to EASY. I forgot to add that anywhere in the thread earlier, but that helped me play better as a team and avoid red cards like i did in my first Arsenal game.

For your game, I made a few transfers for Valencia: Luka Modric to play wing when my wingers are hurt; Landon Donovan on loan to fill in for Silva who I sold as AM; Maxi Rodriguez and Alexander Hleb to rotate with Donovan and help out at the wings if needed. I found Hleb on AM and Maxi on RL worked out well.

Other than that, I actually sold Del Horno and Miguel as well as Caneira. I played Moretti, Alibiol, Ayala, and Torres as my main back 4; and they worked out to do well. I let my ass-man pick the team before I moved around a little, usually just Eddie because they never select him as my TM, and switching around the midfield every now and then. I let my ass man handle the talks.. and that's about it.

It's tough for me to say why your failing.. theres always a luck factor involved as well as a game-by-game difference in each players and teams performance. Unless you do something different than I do, such as do team-talks yourself, it should all be reasonbly the same.
