I'm having troubles with totenham because whenever i get a comfortable 2-0 the other team win like 2-3.Is this based on wether your at home or away, tactics, team talk or what??

I really need help, also Its on the 360 not pc and I've only had this game for 3 weeks.

The opposition regularly change their tactics when they go behind, often to a 4-2-4 formation and pretty attacking. If you are keeping the same formation throughout the match you are probably getting out numbered in defence when this happens. It might also be something to do with team talks, if your side takes the foot off the gas when you are in front and the opponents get fired up, they're naturally going to come out more determined to win than your team.

Ok so what do you suggest i do at half time ?? Change to a more defensive style and then say dont get to complacent, because usually I just say that i'm pleased...

Personally I play a more defensive mentality and set my closing down and time wasting slightly higher after half time if I am winning. I also change my defenders personal passing instructions to more direct (so they clear the ball further up field when they get it) but keep the midfield on a slow tempo short passing game to try and just keep the ball. I sometimes also play counter attack for the second half, to play in a way to absorb the pressure a bit more.

I'm not too great with the team talks (I get bored of doing them every game) so I usually set my assistant manager to do all of these if he has good attributes. I find them fairly vague and it's hard to understand exactly what effects each different talk option has on the morale of the players. The morale after a team talk does definitely come into it though, so hopefully you will get a reply from someone who knows more about this than I do. I think there is a thread around somewhere about player psychology, if I find it I will post a link.

Here it is. The reason I couldn't find it was because it wasn't on this forum. It's quite a long read but goes into detail about what effects media options will have on your players and is pretty useful if you want to cover all of this yourself. As I said in the last post, I'm too lazy and just let my assistant do it all. The pre match and half time talks are around half way down the post.
