Hi!!

I'm not José Mourinho but not very far. Also portuguese!!! :p
I've been managing Salisbury for a while now. I'm on the seventh season and my team rest on the 15th place of Championship.
Many may say that my tactic is quite strange but it as shown results.
Today all i can do is a sketch, but I'll post an image as soon as I can.

staggering works really well actually, i just dont like how it looks.

i used a tactic that looked liked this

-----------0
-0--0--0----
-----------0
-0--0--0----

and focuses passing down the righ flank...did really well as the WBR and the AMR seem to double up on everyone down the right hand side.

Defence works amazing well aswell as having a DC dead centre seems to stop alot of attacks.

But didnt like the shape to look at so never really looked into it in much detail.

It did occur to me when I saw the option to focus pass just down one side this could be exploited for the purposes of winning - you could have two systems mirrored, to perhaps attack your opponents weakest full back for example.

However, whilst I am not against exploting opportunities, it would just be a step too far for me in terms of winning, and would be a further step away from the real game.

so thats a back 4, DM, LM, CM, AMR, AMCL, FC right?

The Brazilians used something similar in 58 and 62 to win the WC.

I think it was like that. Very flexible, it could be 442, 424, 433, 343, 334 - whatever the situation.
