I doubt the thread hasn't been locked because someone is condsidering appologising, it's more the fact that there are 3 mods for this forum - and none have them have been on the online list while this thread has been active? Plus the thread title does look like it could be a tactical debate rather than the subject that is actually on. When the mods appear something will no doubt be said.

I think this is somebody just having a pop at Cleon maybe a some history there.
I don't like somethings that the moderators do.
But you look at rusuandrei spelling it don't make sense as he spells "ain't" fine and the context is close, but then goes on to say "sais" which is more simpler English spelt very badly.
And I knows he is going to say is from Moldova, and his English isn't spot on but, imo he is British in disguise

If you are asking for an apology, you got to show us the e-mail. Until then, what you say happened is not backed up by evidence.

Cleon is innocent until you can prove otherwise. It's simple as that.

I thought this was to be an insightful theory but oooh no. What a shame to waste KBs in the database for a flame against a mod.

If you e-mailed him and described the situation I'm sure he would see your side (_if_ he did write what you say).

Now all you've done is opened a thread with a title that doesn't match the content, flamed against a guy most of us like, comparing him to hitler and not even have the balls to show the "evidence". Something tells me that by doing this instead of taking it up with him personally, like any sane person would do. Your only interest is to flame, and not actually getting somewhere.

LOL Not ganging up on Millie here at all but isn't it Ribbentrop? Anyway I must admit I bristle at the condescension I find here in some of these threads.

Though I appreciate fully the hard work put in by the veterans of the board who at the end of the day are only trying to help, I sometimes feel like I'm hitting someone up for some snake oil when reading some of these advice threads. It reaches the height of justtoomuchery at times.

Plus, sifting through some of the florid prose from some gurus seems a bit more trouble than it's worth, as the game proves there really are no quick fixes for FM07.

It's my opinion that the dearth of supertactics threads for this installment of FM, and the very few that you find are more approaches to playing the game rather than tactics, prove that this game is extremely hard but extremely awesome.

I suspect that FM07 is ultimately the most rewarding version yet because it requires the player to get actively involved because it is clear there are no free hand-outs, perhaps in spite of the alarming success some users seem to have enjoyed.
