Considering the furore caused by the Jade Goody incident on Big Brother and the subsequent bad press and unwanted media attention this has caused channel 4 in regard to racism then I think if it is true that a moderator has indeed said this then he has been extremely naive to say the least.

tp be fair i couldnt actualy clearly make out what zdobzbub was saying there. Its far more likly that cleon said he couldnt reply due to the standad of english rather than not being english!

Wasn't Moldova part of Romania during WWII? Taken by the Soviets as part of the Molotov-Robbentrop pact? Wikipedia tells me this is the case. In which case, should Cleon not be a Stalin rather than a Hitler?

I will propose the following possibilities:

1) Cleon never said anything of the sort - where's the proof.

2) Cleon said that the person's English was completely rubbish and therefore was not in the mood to answer him. (If your friend's email address ends in .com or .co.uk etc., there's a good chance that Cleon may not know he was foreign).

3) This is a "beanfeast"-esque attempt to wind people up.

Anyway, the Russians behaved far worse to the Eastern Europeans than Hitler did, and that's saying something considering the holocaust, eh?

I understand what you're trying to say... but, it is a human way of life to need proof in these sort of situations, and, as you seem reluctant to give it, everyone is going to assume the same thing, you're most likely to be talking out of you're .... !!
