Very good point, but a lot of people seem to automatically assume that SI aren't aware of the problems in the game, which judging by some of their comments in GQ, that simply isn't the case.

A reply to this would be nice though.

I don't speak for myself but it often isn't very obvious when related corrections regarding complaints from gamers are made in all forms of computer gaming and some developers and programmers (not necessisarlily SI) do ignore the complaints and issues raised by gamers as is evident on other internet forums. People may get a general view on the attitudes of programmers and developers which may or may not be unfounded but programmers do little to help this view (wether it be founded or unfounded) when they don't interact very directly with consumers.

Perhaps it's that kind of mistrust of big corporations. I guess FM'ers are quite a left wing bunch.......

No, I see your point and understand it. It's just I'm not quite that cynical... yet.

Besides, I have seen responses by SI staff which seem to imply that they're at least listening to the complaints.

I'm 17 (in two days) so I won't be more cynical than I a now untill I'm 45 probably lol.

You should see my myspace (.com/greatgigdave). I'm a pretty cynical bloke. The amount of claims that the AI cheats (I'm not one) makes it seem like FM'ers are a pretty cynical bunch. I guess football fans in general are (except when it comes to their team).
