It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Have gone a few games into the season with Chelsea. I totally revamped the Chelsea squad, selling every player above 25 years old to build a young squad. Here's my squad now.

GK: Cech (Gordon)
DR: Cristian Zaccardo (Eduardo Ratinho)
DL: Ashley Cole (Wayne Bridge)
DC: John Terry (Joseph Yobo)
DC: Andrea Barzagli (Khalid Boulahrouz)
MR: Joe Cole (Shaun Wright-Philips)
MR: Robben (Guardado)
MC: Michael Essien (Joey Barton)
MC: Wesley Sneijder (John Obi Mikel)
AMC: Bodmer (Luka Modric)
FC: Adriano (Cesar Delgado)

Have Salomon Kalou, Eduardo in the reserves as well with Carlos Vela, Kerlon, Lassana Diarra, Anthony Vanden Borre all sent out to my affiliates.

Played against Liverpool in the Community Shield, with a convincing 2-0 win (Adriano double). Played 5 games in the EPL so far and won 4 of them. Lost 2-1 away against Tottenham (like real life, gutted ). What I observe about this tactic so far is that your opponents seem to get a lot of space and time, because even though I win most of the games, my opponents frequently have around the same number of shots as me.

Will continue and see how everything goes.

hmmmmm wierd.

You have made alot of changes to your team though could take awhile for them to settle

plus if it was me i'd have jole cole as your attacking mid and bodmer as your more attacking cm robben on the left and swp on the right.

Might work bit better up 2 you though

Joe Cole is injured from the start of the game after the patch, so I am using SWP on the right now. Choosing the better AMC out of Bodmer and Kalou, I prefer using Bodmer in the AMC position. And Joe Cole plays on the right flank for Chelsea irl, so wanted to follow that really.

Have gone through a few more games now. Drew 3-3 with Galatasary away in ECC and drew 3-3 with Reading away as well. Noticed that my defence keeps making lots of amateurish schoolboy mistakes and the opposition strikers often get behind my defence without being offside and score. Scoring doesn't seem to be a problem though, defence really needs sorting out.

I wlll look into it.

I havnt really done much with the defence tbh since it seems to work ok for me, but odvisouly you shouldnt be letting in 3 goals agaisnt the likes reading and Galatasary.

Is anyone else having these troubles also?

Hey moomoomoo,

This tactic is really good, first game i tried it I beat Norwich away 7-0 with my Liverpool team lol.

Anyway about the defence, I've noticed alot of backward passes to the goalkeeper (from defence & midfield) which the opposition tend to intercept, which leaves them 1 on 1.

Hope this helps, KUTGW.

Fired up my aresnal game i figure i will try fix the defence with a good team first before moving on, plus i just signed kaka and got reyes back, so fun fun fun

WOW !!!

I have to say this is the first tactic i have used which actually looks like it works on FM 2007..

I have tried 100's of my own made tactics and about 30 from other users on here downloaded from fm downloaded. The game just seemed to beat them no matter what team i had.I always go a Coca Cola Championship team and in about 20 seasons with my own and various downloaded tactis from here (including the most popular) alls i have had is failure, coming bottom 5 and most of the time relegated !

However i found this tactic when i had about 5 games to go with my Preston team who were bottom of the Coca Cola Championship and sadly it could not save me from being relegated but i won 3 and drew 2 with this tactic in them last 5 games, anyhow i was sacked. Then in July Sunderland offerd me a job.So i went in,and basically cleared the whole team out and brought in some young unproven players.

Now most i expected or was hoping for was a top half finish IF THAT.I used this tactic all season,no tweaks other than when at home i went ALL OUT ATTACK now and again. You have periods were its amazing then goes a little wrong but over all this is a great tactic.

It is far better at home than away in my opinion...I only conceded 9 at home all season.A lot of 1-0's and the odd frustrating 0-0 !

I finsihed 5th in the Championship but then cruised the playoffs and beat Northampton 2-0 to get promoted to the premier league !

Here are some pictures of my season

hehehe glad you like it

it does go wierd sometimes. There are times where nothing happens at all and its annoying.

Currently tweaking it now so it doenst let as many goals in some when them annoying bits happen it doenst cost you too many points.
might have cracked it watc hthis space

moomoomov2 is now ready for testing.
3 changes i have a deeper defensive line now the 2 center mids have back arrows and the whole defence has been tweaked.

results so far

arsenal 4 chelsea 1 - shield thing

They managed 11 shots only 4 on target though and they only scored cause of gay goal keeping. I had 13 shots 8 on target.

Arsenal 4 newcastle 0

easy win at home to newcastle
i had 16 shots 9 on target they managed 4 none was on target either

Arsenal 3 - wba 1

They just got promoted easy away win it was allready 3-0 when they score a late on from a corner i had 15 shots 9 on target they had 6 3 on target.

aresnal 2 palermo 0 euro super cup thing

another easy win with a weakend side agaisnt a good looking palermo side we had 23 shots 10 on target shame henry was susspended. They managed 7 5 on target though keeper did well.

Good thing is, season hasnt really started yet i feel theres more to come. Just need to work out my best team, and get some people back from injurys.

anyways here the link hope it works, 1 more game then off to bed
