when i first play any FM game, i always go my favourite team, to obviously get used to the game and try to understand the tactics side of it
by going my favourite team, i can always adapt my favourite starting line up and tweak the best formation to the best of my teams ability.
i have since went another team, and i tried various tactics from here that seem to be working for other people on here, but just not working for me, so i used the tactic i used at my favourite team - and because i know how to use this tactic, and what players would suit to it, i am top of the league (after just been promoted) and flying !
doubt this would help anybody, but this has always worked for me since the days of FM got complicated
