I've been doing a lot of reading on the forums about tactics, but I still have some general confusion on the roles of target men and playmakers.
Is the target man the guy you want to deliver the ball to set up a goal (ie, a tall striker like Crouch), or the guy in the midfield that you want to get the ball to set up an attack (a DM like Viera)?
Do you want your playmaker to be a highly creative midfielder who can create opportunities for himself and his opponents, or should it be your best striker? Does it matter?
I'm trying to set up my team instructions but am not sure where to focus.
