How do you deal with AI teams who like to play possesion football?

I like to play possesion football.
But whenever my team goes against AI teams who like to play possesion football, then my team always has little of possesion of ball. Then AI teams often dominate that game type.

I chose short passing and slow tempo to help me have more possesion. But AI teams still have much possesion, esp when playing away from home

I often have to go with defence mentality together with direct passing, quick tempo and counter attack, although the odds was really heavily favoured my team.

So I want to ask: How do you deal with AI teams who like to play possesion football? (esp when you play away from home)

you can play an offensive, faster tempo, direct passing game with out ticking CA. It can work if you side is good enough. Home field also helps. Try closing them down a bit more, too.

hi there i kinda have the same problem im man utd and just finished my first season at the start i played opposite to what the opposition played etc they play direct i play short they play high tempo i play slow and so on till i got to the atttacking or defensive choice. early on i played alot of the defensive tactic and slow tempo and short passing but now every team i come up agaist i have to play high tempo direct attacking tactic even away and im leaking in goals galoar and its ******** me off lol so your not alone. geewhizz i went on a bit sorry magnoliadave
