Is there a prolem with the Work Permits by any chance? If I sign a player who needs one, and they get it, a 'Wp' button appears by their name and they can't play saying they dont have a work permit.

This seems to be resolved by offering them a new contract though.

i made it
i think the money you get is down to past experiance thing you can put in your profile i put it as ex internaonail footballer, cuase of this i think your reputation is higher and board more likly to grant u more money, dunno if this true or not just my theory.

luca toni cost me 15 mill rejected chelsea to come to me so thats a bonus, klose also seems to come costs abotu 25 mill though, not sure hes as good as toni etiher.

but they really toned done stats for this game i did a serch for players with 20 finishing only 2 players came up

camoranesi bought for like 10 mill
first chocie right winger with ronaldo on the right

cambiasso- signed for nearly 12 him and carrick forming a good partnership

what are peoples first chocie center backs mine at the min vidic and fredi.

i would love to sign lennon and roa coker, but both seem very pricey, more ones for when full game comes out i think

results so far

3-1 win away to west ham
3-1 win home to newcastle
3-0 win away to reading

so far good start and toni = awesome

I got nailed by the game.
I wanted to sign Luca Toni, i offered €22m. Viola asked for 27, which i offerred. Then chelsea came, offered 21m, they accepted. So i reofferd 21m, and once again they negotiated 27. Then i offered 27 again and they just didn't reply anymore, 3 days later Chelsea signed Toni for much less money, my bid still not replyed.
Logically I would think, chelsea has more money to offer then me, so THEY should be the one who has to pay more.
Turned out chelsea offered €43m for Ferdinand, which i accepted with the great addition: the offer was just too good.
I signed the spanish wonderkid-centreback, Llorente and David Villa (suggested by that wonderkid centerback).
And i sold park for about 5m.

And indeed, always ask for more money .

Be involved in Transfers negotioations usually helps.

I managed to sign Torres for £44m (£5m now and £39m over 24months) and Akinfeev for £19m (£5m now and £12m over 24 months.)

When i was in negotiations (which btw, are a lot more improved in this version!) for Torres, i asked the board to up the transfer budget and MrGill gave me £30.5m to spend.

I was like a kid at Christmas.

Also managed to Sign : Vanden Borre & Skjelbred after selling G.Neville to Milan for £8.5m

btw, i love the tutorlage thing in this game, i asked Rio to tutor Vanden Borre, and he's preformed amazingly since then, 9's in almost every game.

I agree with some people about the toning down of stats thou, Torres only has a 13 for Finishing, and he's not scorring as much, luckly for me Rooney is!

why are people selling neville? best right back on the game!

i don't think torres is as good on 07, certainly not worth £44m.

i'll have to try the tutor feature, actually forgot about it until now.

moomoomoo: i signed lennon for £14.5m which i think is a steal considering spurs are one of the bigger teams and that lennon is a wonderkid.

lord victor: is that wonderkid the 20 yr old who plays for valencia? he looks awesome but i don't think i can afford him just yet, i want samuel first.
