Second seasons with Arsenal. Wiese came on a free (and did very well on his debut) so i've now got him and Fabianski as my keepers. However, my team report tells me I should invest in a keeper and I've had a £12.5m offer accepted for Frey.
Is he worth it? Wiese looks pretty good, so Frey would need to be brilliant to justify the outlay. My remaining budget is £36m, but I also need a top quality ML. I've had a £19m bid accepted for Guardado but am also looking at loads of other suspects.
I'm also investigating the other Usual Suspects for top line keeprs (Ochoa, Akinfeev, etc) but this was the first one that came back with an "accepted".
Frey is very good and imo better than Wiese. But I prefer Diego Cavalieri to Frey. And he'll be cheaper as well. Besides them, have a look at Lloris who'll cost about the same. Akinfeev is obviously the usual suspect and he's always brilliant. But yeah, Cavalieri is very good and very consistent. Look him up.
19M for Guardado is a good price. He's excellent. If you can still get Marcelo for the 5.5M release clause then do so as he's brilliant as AML or ML. Else both Ben Arfa and Menez are quality on that side.
