Im in pre season in my 3rd season with newcastle.I have qualified to play champs league this season. I need a new striker because i had to sell owen due to the fact that his contract was up at the end of the season and he wudnt sign a new one. so had to cash in and got £11m for him. My current strikers are martins (unreal), andy carroll, mark viduka and daniel sturridge. Martins and carroll are my only truly class strikers so i need another goal machine. any ideas? i hav £20m to spend.

Mauro Zarate isn't a beast of a player but he should be cheap and will definitely score a few. I'd get rid of Viduka if I was you.

il have a look at zarate. those other guys would be out of my price range. i was also thinking of anelka. he is 30 in my game but still has loads of pace and he should be grand for 2 or 3 seasons.... thoughts? also vidukas done a decnet job for me coming off the bench and i gave me a 1 year deal at the start of the season and he halved his wages so hes not costing that much
