GK- (always wondered what rushing out and punching did, high is good or bad?)
|
Well tendency to punch is bascially when the keeper gets a high ball in, he deals with it by punching it out rather than trying to collect it. I always thought that leads to trouble and I HATE my GK's to have high stats in this area. So, for me, I would like to have it as low as possible. Rushing out is bascially how quick the keeper comes out to collect through balls by the opposition. This is a bit trickier I suppose. It can be good or bad depending on your GK's other stats. Its good, I suppose, if your GK has a high value in Decisions, Pace & Acceleration. But few keepers have all 3 of them high. So I usually like my keepers to have low values in this area too. Particularly since I always try to employ quick CB's who can deal with over-the-top balls or can catch the opposition strikers most of the time. Not to mention, in the game it is VERY hard for strikers to score in one-on-one's.
