i have managed man united and arsenal so far without any real joy, going to start again can someone please advise of a team where i stand a good chance of winning the league and what tactics they do to win it

I have played two games as Newcastle.

Pre-patch, finished top by a large margin.
Post-patch, finished third. It was actually more satisfying coming third as I relished the harder battle for a high place in the league. A lot of the top teams were all within about 4 points of each other, apart from Man Utd who romped it and finished a good 12 points clear, maybe more, I don't fully remember.

I think I can get third place again this season but Arsenal are on a massive unbeaten run. I'm second, two points behind them but they really do look unstoppable at the moment.

4-4-2 Attacking, diamond formation. I'll take a screenshot of my team instructions tonight and post them on this discussion for you.

I've got to say some amazing performances helped a lot the second time round, which led to me having to sell Milner and N'Zogbia at the end of the season because the offers were really too good to refuse. £16.75M for Charles and £9M for James.

Why not pick a poor team like Sunderland or Derby and instead of trying to win the Premiership, battle to get a mid-table spot?

aston villa are a very good team and you can make them for average to the top 4. Ashley Young is sickkkk by the way :p
