You've got Curtis Davies, Scott Carson and Ashley Young are all quality, I think Carson might just be on loan but hold on to the other two.

Potenza (DL) and Diego Capel (ML) did well for me on loan first season. I can back Zapater at MC as well.

Also, Guilherme is looking an extremely promising ST for £4.5m.

Lulinha is coming in January for $5 million

I've sold:
Gardner, Osbourne, and a bunch of useless youth players. I have too many center backs so I may terminate Davies's loan or sell Mellberg. Any recommendations?

I started as Villa and when I did I bought:

Matias Fernandes (a quality buy): £6.5 million + 30%

Breno: £3.8 million (comes in January)

Leyrielton: £5 million

Georigino Wijnaldum: about 250k compensation

Jean II Makoun: £5.75 million + 45%


They are all young players that will become quality players in a few years time. If you have some money spare then get Carson because he is quality. I am now in 4th December and I am in 1st place 7 points ahead of both Everton and Chelsea.

N.B. Carson, Cahill, Reo-coker, Moore and Young play very well for me and I would highly recommend you NOT to sell them even thought there might be interest!

Curtis Davies is young and quality. Also, he actually moves to Villa at the end of the season, so it wouldn't be wise to terminate the loan.

I'd get shot of Mellberg.

James - I have a player called Guilherme but he's a left-back, and a bloody good one at that. You make a mistake there or are there several players of that name?

Can't fault any of your signings Scott, but as I said, keep hold of Davies. Wijnaldum is a similar player to Van der Vaart and turns into an awesome player when he's older. Get him quick 'cos I had to pay £4M second season at the age of 17 because of his potential.

Mauro Zarate, Cesar Delgado, both quality and cheap strikers. Patricio Araujo was a good signing for me when I was Milan so if he can do the biz there then he should be a good signing for Villa.
