Rep Power: 0 | Great Example of How to Handle Newbies
Check out the graphics and skinning forum. There is now a warning to not post certain types of request at the top of the forum, and it's in huge, bold-faced type. You can't help but notice it when you enter the forum. This is what I've suggested a few times for the LLM forum. I really believe that something like this would reduce the problems with newbies posting without reading the guidelines here.

I have to say, I never miss "The following will not be tolerated:"
But perhaps it needs a bit of space around it, maybe some flashing lights and arrows.

If people can't be bothered to read it, they deserve whatever they get coming their way.

| No. It's not in 24-point font and bold typeface. When it's that size, I guarantee results.

Off course it will guarantee results. Point is it's messy and if people are too lazy to take the time to read the simple rules at the top of the page then they aren't LLM material.
Not all of the current regulars read the rules before posting, but they we're all apologetic about their error.

We need some red flashin flash MX skulls, with read the header written on them and a gangsta rap how you should read the header and rules and then before each post a small text will come to the screen such as
Yo If U WaNnA b3 tHe b3sT gAnGsTa U cAn B3 R33d Da H3AdA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe they will understand such language.

We could just shoot them all.
This would 1) stop annoying " who should i start with" posts.
and
2) make for good entertainment
