You what? You got a few answers. To précis:

(a) TV games are decided way in advance. It is implied in this statement that you realise this is based on your off-season reputation/squad strength and therefore if you weren't very good then, you're unlikely to be on tv, regardless where you are now.

(b) There really aren't all that many conference games on tv anyway

(c) we don't know why your cup tie wasn't on tv. (Additionally, this is a GQ question, not an LLM one.)

(d) we're not particularly interested in whether there's a bug for televising of matches anyway. There are more pressing things to be fixed first.
