Afternoon guys,

Am just about to start a new game, and was wondering the following.

If I put adverts in the job centre for staff, would I eventually get the odd realistic applicant?
ie. If I manage in England, after months of African and Croatian blokes, would British staff eventually apply?

I've tried the job centre before but always given up after 6 weeks of stupid applicants.

Any ideas?

sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. You might be better off searching yourself.

I tend to put out ads, but they never work, so I just sign other ways.

I find the biggest problem with the job centre is that no one unemployed ever applies and I can never afford to pay clubs any compensation so I have pretty much given up on it!

I have had several unemployed guys apply for jobs in the job centre. But their states were really crap. I did just advertise for an assistant manager about a month later I still only had 2 applicants. 2 of my own bloody coaches!! ... I didn't offer then the job

I just can't hire a scout that can't handle himself in the pub, where is the tollerance to alcohol attribute?

I always go for the jobcentre.

Lately only crap staff from the nation I'm in is turning up anyway. With the occasional exotic but with the country I'm in as 2nd nationality. So seems fine to me.

I think the jobcentre works better outside of the UK, although in Italy I've still encountered the "all employed already" situation.
