In the lowest league I look for reputations below local, nationality of English and unemployed' These boys are usually sh;t enough to want to join me on minimum wage

As I progress up the league I look for local, National, and hopefully in 10 years time I woll be looking for world class coaches :eek:.....

After I have moved jobs enough times to be a premiership manager, I tend to use the job centre as the better coaches etc. are probably already employed by someone else.

At the beginning of season 5 in my game, a batch of coaches with 13/14 in every attribute became available with 'unproven' or 'obscure' reps and were all available for approx £300 - £600 per week.

I couldn't resist hiring a few (of course), but wondered if this is normal. Up until then the only coaches I could get may have had an ok rating in one or two areas, but were crap in all others. Has anyone else noticed this or was it a happy coincidence?

At the risk of tipping I advertise for an Assistant Manager no matter what the vacancy then offer whatever job I feel matches the applicant. I only ever get applications for Assistant Manager vacancy, so it's the only way it works.

I just did a search for unemployed staff in my current saved game, and there were pages of names! It was unbelievable. I can't imagine why there would be so many unemployed staff of Spanish nationality and based in Spain when I'm running all the leagues in that country, but they're all loitering around looking for work.

You can afford that?? I can offer up to £40 per week for my coaches. It's no wonder I can't get anyone to sign for me!

I think it's the way the game deals with adding new staff. They get added in one country at a time so if you search at one time, you might get loads of Spanish staff unemployed and at another time you might get loads of Dutch staff unemployed.
It seems to do it by job as well. I've looked for staff only to find that the only coaches available are Belgian.
