Bit of a wierd topic name but still

Do You find a better overall experience starting with alower league team and building your squad up, or with a team in the premiership?

Most people here wouldn't know as they've not done the latter and those that have, well, why do you think they are here?

I suggest you read the header and read a few threads so you get an understanding of what this forum is about.

Then you can answer your own question.

The only way to truly become a good manager in FM is to start in the lower league ranks and learn how to take even the smallest clubs with the worst finances and facilities to success. Managing at the top flight is simply too easy.

If you can start in the lower league ranks and suffer through the trial and error until you become good enough to start taking clubs to success, then there is no FM experience to match it. There is a much greater sense of accomplishment, because it is far more difficult to win when you don't have the money or reputation to bring in good players and you play according to the guidelines in this forum.

it is too easy starting off in the Premiership or Primera Liga wherever you decide to begin, but its also extremely boring. plenty of top quality players, millions upon millions of dollars, i prefer a scrap

I thought the Cat Power version was quite nice actually. And it's always hard to go past Devo.
