In earlier incarnations of the series I have played as Liverpool, and I really did enjoy winning everything in sight. However there is not much left to do once you have the best team put together. Which is why I started playing as a lower league manager. Now I had been playing as a lower league manager for years before I found this forum. And the main reason I started using the LLM Guidelines was as a way to handicap myself. However after playing the LLM way for a while it just becomes the natural way to play.

I did try a Liverpool save when FM2006 came out because I didn’t want to start long career until some of the bugs were taken out. I went 28 straight wins before my first draw with Liverpool at the start of the game and just gave up, I did report this in the bugs forum as it was just too bloody easy!!

Honestly you should give LLM a try, ready the guidelines ask frank for a team and start struggling

Her version is great, especially in that it leaves out one of the most famous riffs in rock. Though she does sometimes throw it in during live performances, when she can actually muddle her way through a live performance, which isn't often. *



* and yet I once again lifted my self-imposed ban on her concerts and have agreed to attend her valentine's day show with the missus. it'll kill 15 minutes of time if nothing else.

I haven't seen her live, but she has been Down Under a few times- did a great album with the Dirty Three as a backing band too (Moon Pix). I have heard there's not alot of audience interaction to speak of in her shows, unless she's abusing someone.
