I made some questions about the Scottish side Queen's Park and their potential as a club.

duccio, this isn't the way we play the game. We pick a team regardless of their potential and plot careers in the most realistic way the game allows. We have certain guidlines wer adhere to, have a read, they are at the top of the forum.

To try and answer at least one of your questions:
I believe QP will struggle financially becuase the stadium maintenance charges will eat away at the finances until you can fill the stadium week in week out. That's not going to happen for a long time, if at all.

Well if they do own the stadium they'll make money renting it out (Scotland Rugby etc) and if not then they won't have to play so much of the upkeep as much of the upkeep will be payed by the owners.

I am aware of the lower league managing style. I'm not naming any players, and I linked to a thread in another part of the board so there is no need to even discuss potential of a particular club right here. I just though since QP is a lower league club, managers here might be better equipped to answer the questions I posed. Thats all.

Which crapper was it that won the SPL with Queens Park without ever paying for a player (amongst other rules)?

I think that was prior versions though wasn't it? In 05, QP haemorrhaged cash and unless you got lucky it was a looooong haul to try and get up to use the "potential" of the stadium.

Queen's Park own Hampden but it's on a long lease to the SFA for Internationals and Cup Semis and Finals.

On FM they lose money *rs* over t*t paying maintenance charges that are unrealistic compared to real life, and they pay players and take them on part-time contracts, again unrealistic compared to real life as they're the only amateur senior side in the world.

Bottom line, Queen's Park can't be played realistically on FM.
