Playing in German Second Bundesliga I am on a bad run and sick and tired of my team. So after a 6-0 loss (all second half goals after a defender got sent off) I warned every player on the pitch for poor performance and fined the idiot that got sent off 2 weeks wage.
No comment from the board.
A week later they offer me a contract extension of 2 years at 3 times my salary :eek: (I'm mid table expected to avoid relegation). I reject the offer.
The board are very dissapointed and expect me to be professional for the remaining three months of my contract.
I apply for one job and state my interest in two others
The board are very dissapointed with me and my professionalism. The fans have organised a group to apply pressure to the boss to have me thrown out.
Next game I give two players warnings for getting suspended for clocking up 5 yellows. (I had the whole team on hard tackling all match ) Now most of the team are 'concerned at the treatment of teammates'. So sad.
One of the players warned states to the press that he hopes I don't go
I am offered a new position and decide to sit on it until the end of the season and they agree. :thup:
I have a job to go to so feel empowered to pi55 the board off even more, so I request a new contract...
They agree and say they will offer me one shortly
Now I dont' want to stay as I'm fed up with the club and players but feel I should repay the board's loyalty to me
I should add: the genesis of this sordid tale was when I managed to halt the bottom team's 18 match winless streak about 4 matches ago... Since then I've been getting angrier and angrier
