OK, I've had this 'problem' with my game, so I'm curious whether anyone has this happening too.
After I finished my first season with Lancaster, I notice a few clubs are interested in one of my players, who is valued at £12K. Since I'm not interested in selling him (for some reason he became one of the club's favourite staff), I tag him with an asking price of 100K, hoping that no one comes after him. A couple of days later, Burnley offers me £100K for him. Although the offer is tempting (I had only £22K in the bank), I decide to ask for £250K, fearing that refusing the offer would make the player unhappy. Surprisingly they agree to this fee, and I sell a player valued at £12K for £250K, which seems ridiculous. But I figured that maybe he had a high potencial, and that's why this happened.
A few days later, Wycombe makes me an offer of £35K for one of my strikers (that was his sale value). Not wanting the history to repeat itself, I ask for £500K. Wycombe give up, but immediatley Plymouth comes along and offers me the £500K. Suddenly I'm in the lowest division in England with nearly £800K in the bank. Which kind of ruined the fun of the game. I don't remember this happening so easily in the previous games, so I'm wondering if any of you is having this sort of situation happening too, or if by some stroke of luck I just happened to have two hidden gems in my squad...

£731k in for the sale of some 40 players in four seasons. That's about £18k per player. Not much if we take into account in which league we're sitting now.
