Decided to do this properly and start unemployeed. Has anyone out there got advice / experience that will come in handy?

1) Should I take the first club on offer (mansfield!) or does a better one come up?
2) Are there any cheap lower league players that are 'must' buys that will be happy to join?
3) When is the earliest you can start looking at new jobs, without appearing to be like Steve Bruce?

I switched on all leagues, all nations, started unemployed. Have to say i find it very good. I got offered a job at Nafkas, second division Croation team, short-term contract to save them from relegation which i didn't do as i had only 4 games to make 11 points in...fired! Then i joined Frigg Oslo, 3 year deal, again second division strugglers. Managed to win 7 on the bounce, saved 'em, and i'm preparing for a good season ahead, hopefully. I have to say starting without a club is great fun, imo, its a great challenge to switch on all leagues, medium database, its a real challenge.

Starting unemployed would be fine if there were a few random clubs starting the game managerless each time, but since its always the same clubs it would get rather boring if you play more than once in the same league!
