Default Information rather than tipping

Okay so another manager came along and whispered sweet nothings to the press about me and my player is now thinking...

"Believes in the wake of Blah Blah's recent comments to the press that the team cannot fail to perform whilst under the guidance of the current boss."

Is that good because the player will go into the next game confident OR Bad because he is over confident

I haven't see any change in performance in that past after these comments.

I don't really want to know what you get up to in the team bath with your boys Hogie.

My (probably uninformed) guess is it could be either. There is a fine line between confidence and over-confidence

I've had the same message before, and I think it's a constructive sort of confidence. But I still have not seen enough clear evidence of this. When it happened to me, my team went on a pretty solid run thereafter, so I took it as a good thing. But if you start to see comments about how the players think they can win big games easily and that sort of thing, I think it's a sign of overconfidence. I've seen messages like that.

I don't like that message. Always strikes me as over-confidence. Cockiness, even.

In my experience, I have always gone on a losing streak after such comments!

Unfortunately SI have not given 'Shut the F**K up' as a media retort!
