No idea if this will be of interest to anyone here, but it's something I've been meaning to do myself and I don't really know where to start -- so maybe someone here can help.
The idea of this challenge is to pick the northmost European team playable in FM and take them as far as possible. The problem is that I've no idea what this team should be, so there's a geographical challenge involved as well. I reckon the number of fans and the pitch conditions should add to the challenge. Could also make an interesting story for any talented writers out there, I guess.
Kind of half-way to that challenge, instead of picking from the whole of Europe you could pick the northmost Scottish team available instead. So far I know of Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Elgin City a bit further northeast, and I've been told about Ross County being on about the same latitude as Elgin or even a bit more to the north.

I think the praise you lavish upon me is a tad false
Still, hopefully you'll realise now that you're armed with everything you need to find out what you want, without getting other people to do it for you.
The northernmost club in all of Europe is Hammerfest FK in Norway. The club is in the Norwegian Second Division.
However, I think Hammerfest was in the Third Division for the 2004 and 2005 seasons, so it is probably not a playable club in FM2006. The team is back in the Second Division for 2006, though.
I'll have to find out which Norwegian team was northernmost while Hammerfest was out of the Second Division.
