I started my first real lower league challenge in Conference North and I brought in some decent youngsters who are performing so well that they have already attracted attention from big-clubs.
The player in question is valued at 140k and I got offers for him from Man. City, Leeds, Cardiff and Portsmouth.
All offers are in that region and the money would be very welcome because I am still 50k in debt.
What would be the best tactic for me to get as much as possible from this transfer. Should I go for the huge sell-on-fee (50%) + lower initial fee and cash-in (or maybe not) if he succeeds and transfer to a bigger club. Or should I ask for alot of money (say 400k up front).
His contract expires at the end of the year and I offered him a new contract but he hasn't signed it yet. I don't want him to leave on a free transfer, so I think that I got to do business in the january-window.
