Hi, I'm a once-in-a-blue-moon lurker here because I fully support the development of football in Southeast-Asia and Oceania regions.
I'm playing only the A-League at the moment, but will get into the full swing of things once I have time by starting a full FM06.0.2 game with all leagues from the regions loaded.
I guess most of everyone here are from the northern hemisphere. So I would like to recommend to anyone interested and looking for fresh LLM challenge to start a latest patched game with, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia leagues loaded. Please don't load the other Asian league as they are not part of SE-Asia and are better developed and less challenging.
Most of the clubs are foreign coaches and managers with local staff. Asian leagues clubs have a strong tendency towards any foreign coaches and think that any Anglo-Saxon managers must be good. So it will be fairly realistic for a LLM from UK to be employed by an Asian team.
You can count on some fanatic support from the home fans who will worship you like god should you prevail in the league. (Hope I'm not breaking rule) There are also many domestic and regional cup competitions that will keep you busy.
You will also be entrusted to bring in foreign players whom the fans hope to count on to become the club's scoring legend. There are real life accounts of lower league players from UK who never made it and came dejected to Asia only to become a god in the eyes of the Asian fans.
So what I would propose to anyone interested is to start a game with Australia, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia, and keep the update at this post after 3 seasons. (That's the rule, isn't it?) Anyone LLM from the West willing to take up the challenges of the Far-East?
Good call on the realism front, but there are hundreds (ok 50ish) llm leagues in the game and they all provide fertile LLaMa breeding grounds (scotland notwithstanding )
