The start of the downfall. Wages allowed by the board are really low and I had to let go a couple of players as I just couldn't pay them. The season itself is rough but I consider it as a good result seeing all the new blood we got.
Position: 7th
N.Irish Cup: 9th Rnd
N.Irish Int League Cup: 2nd in group 3
Money is very low and I really can't see how to change that. My young striker star is developping perfectly however and has been in the "players of the week" every week or close to it. He's also top scorer and top player of the league. I have also a young goalie in training, VERY promising...
2011-2012: Newry N.Ireland First Division
Beginning of season is a complete disaster. My defense line feels like a 500 years old fishing net and we are taking goals after goals, barely putting any in ourselves apart from my prodigee being lucky.
Learned another lesson too, a 6"3 goalie with apparently everything to be a star, is NOT something to invest on if he is VERY aggressive. Between July and December, he knocked out 4 players and got banned twice. Of course, having a backup goalie with the reflexes of a senile snail isn't helping.
I invested a bit in new blood from other places and the 2nd half of the season saw us climbing from the 12th (last) to the 9th...
Then it came down on me, again, on March 3rd 2012...They sacked me!

Only a matter of time before your sacked in Northern Ireland.
And that only leaves Scotland and the Republic of Ireland to go. Excellent work!
KUTGS!
Well, yea..but that doesn't look too good either:

Well, each time you learn a bit more..
1) Never give ultimatum unless you got another interesting club offering you a job.
2) Don't yell at players too much.
3) Don't take a rolling contract, apparently they can sack you whenever without notice...
I wouldn't consider it tipping. I'd call it "common sense".
But it's interesting to see the trial and error of someone learning the LLM way. Just try not to be so much of a nutter. Would you like being yelled at all the time in real life? Then it stands to reason that your players won't either.
Well, these welsh players were really, really, really bad. I know, I know, no bad players only bad managers, but a defender passing the ball back to a goalie 3 times in a row with a very fast striker RIGHT next to it can get on your nerve sometimes
I liked the names though, trying to go back in that area
