After years of under achieving the board made a brave decision to bring in a young and inexperienced manager Ryan O'Connor, he quickly assured the faithful city followers of a 2 year action plan to get them promoted!
At the end of the first season, O'Connor had replaced all but 3 of his squad, some replacemets worked and some were future in vestments, the trials and tribulations of a lower league manager. Well with loyalty down to 6 O'Connor missed out on the play offs in the last game of his first season.
Second season kicked off and doing remarkably well until that is the dreaded xmas period kicked off. A top of the league clash 1st versus second Southport visiting St Geaorges lane! Lost 2 - 0 havent won a game since...5 games without a win, can this young manager turn it round? Or will his head be on display at the city cathedral!
