Good to see I'm not the only one with injury prone strikers. My last full game I took over FC Koln, bought in a Columbian for 2mil, and in his first match, after scoring a goal and an assist in 20 minutes work, he promptly throws his back out and is gone for 5 months.

KUTGW!

It took the Aussies until 2010 to make the World Cup here, as well. Even Canada made it in 06!

Speaking of ridiculous outcomes, the Ukraine beat Argentina in the 2010 final 5:2. A certain striker who could have signed for West ham (quelle surprise) wins the Golden Boot.

I seem to remember Uganda winning an international competition in one of my games, but I cannae recall which.
Although for pure comedy, Brazil getting knocked out of the Confederation's Cup by St Kitt's And Nevis (who only had one non-virtual player) probably gets my vote.

Guiness,

Ukraine always does well in international competitions in my games. It's rare they don't win something. Don't know if that's a sign of things to come or a creative scout out there.

I lead Div 1 after 14 games having lost only one game. It should not be that easy, especially with the class of players on the books and the class of opposition. I really haven't bought that many players, and basically the nucleus of the side is still Conference standard material, Division 3 at best. My striker whom I would say kindly is "below average" in stats, now has 16 goals at this early stage of the season. Everyone club seems to have one of these "wonder" forwards who just can't stop scoring.

I had the same scenario with 4.1.3 in Italy where progressive promotions saw me leading Serie B by a street with players whom I would not have looked at twice in CM3. I thought it was some sort of corruption as I had had some other silly things happen in the game, and I dropped it and waited for 4.1.5 . It really has got to the silly stage. I'm not enjoying the game because it is far far too easy to again & again achieve promotion. I want a fight, I want a challenge but it just an't forth coming in CM0304.

For these reasons I have terminated the game. I might end up back on CM3, but at the moment my heart is just not in it.

Just ****ed off with it mate. I like all of us suffered through the numerous EP's of CM4 with the hope that CM0304 was going to the light at the end of the tunnell. This latest episode is close to the final nail in the coffin for me.

If FM doesn't perform to all the hype, I'm going to pull up stumps and find a game that does give me a challenge.
